Job Summary:
This temporary 13-week Medical Assistant position in a Cardiology clinic requires a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) with at least one year of experience. The role involves providing clinical and administrative support within a cardiology setting with potential for floating across teams within Heart & Vascular. EPIC and 12-lead EKG experience are mandatory. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a possibility of up to one unscheduled day off every two weeks. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical and administrative support to cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Performing patient assessments and taking vital signs.
- Assisting with procedures and treatments.
- Administering medications as directed.
- Maintaining patient records in EPIC.
- Performing 12-lead EKGs.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Floating to different teams within the Heart & Vascular department as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) license.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant (Cardiology experience preferred but primary care experience will be considered).
- BLS certification.
- EPIC experience.
- 12-lead EKG experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant (Cardiology experience preferred but primary care experience will be considered).

Special Considerations:
- This is a temporary 13-week assignment.
- The position is open to both local and non-local candidates (non-local candidates must be willing to relocate to Seattle and consider a permanent position).
- Up to one unscheduled day off per two-week pay period is possible.
- No weekend work is required.
- The facility may call off the traveler up to one shift per pay period.
- RTO restrictions should be confirmed with the hiring manager.
- Public transportation is not acceptable.
