Job Description
Job Title: RN Float (Med/Surg Telemetry & PCU)
Facility: Landmark Medical Center
Address: 115 Cass Avenue Woonsocket RI 02895
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:45 am - 7:15 pm Every Other Weekend (Friday & Saturday required)
Rate: $68/hr (W2) $72/hr (1099)
Weekly: $2448/weekly for 36hrs
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Float to join our Med/Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care primarily focused on cardiac patients including those post-cardiac catheterization. This position requires flexibility to float between Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units as needed.
- Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units.
- Care for cardiac patients including post-cardiac catheterization.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe effective care.
- Accurately document assessments interventions and patient outcomes using EPIC.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and patient safety standards.
- Work every other weekend (Friday & Saturday) as scheduled.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience including cardiac care and post-cath patients.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Active RN license (Rhode Island or Compact State).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (must already be active prior to start; compliance-only certifications not accepted).

- Technical Skills: EPIC EMR experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to float between Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU units.
