Supply Chain Operations Head

Role Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Head of Supply Chain & Operations to lead our end-to-end supply chain factory operations and manufacturing excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate will come with deep experience in large-scale electronics manufacturing preferably with Foxconn Wistron India or equivalent high-volume OEM/EMS environments. This role requires a strong operational leader with a track record of driving efficiency quality compliance and scalable systems across global supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Supply Chain Management:
  Own planning procurement vendor management logistics warehousing and inventory control to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Factory Operations Leadership:
  Oversee plant operations production scheduling assembly line performance equipment maintenance and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Strategic Manufacturing Execution:
  Drive lean manufacturing principles Six Sigma practices and Kaizen initiatives to improve yield reduce cost and increase throughput.
• Team Leadership & Culture Building:
  Lead and mentor a diverse team across planning sourcing operations and quality functions. Create a performance-driven culture rooted in ownership accountability and empowerment.
• Global Compliance & Quality:
  Ensure adherence to international standards (ISO IATF RoHS etc.) environmental regulations and ethical sourcing guidelines. Develop and audit SOPs for consistency across geographies.
• Scaling Operations:
  Partner with senior leadership to scale manufacturing footprint in alignment with global growth plans and customer demands. Enable facility expansion automation and digital transformation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Interface with engineering sales finance and global supply chain teams to ensure alignment on customer delivery product transitions and risk mitigation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Supply Chain & Operations role is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in large-scale high-volume electronics manufacturing preferably with leading OEMs/EMS companies such as Foxconn Wistron India Flex or Jabil. They possess deep functional expertise in end-to-end supply chain management-including planning procurement logistics and vendor development-as well as proven leadership in factory operations lean manufacturing and quality systems. With at least 5 years in senior leadership roles they have successfully led large cross-functional teams (500 employees) and are known for their strong people leadership and on-the-ground operational presence. The candidate should have a solid track record in scaling operations implementing global compliance standards (ISO IATF RoHS) and driving digital transformation initiatives. Technically proficient in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and MES systems they are analytically driven execution-focused and capable of aligning operational functions with strategic business goals. A bachelors degree in engineering is required and an MBA is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills global stakeholder engagement experience and a willingness to relocate or travel extensively are essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain roles with at least 5 years in leadership roles at Foxconn Wistron India or similar high-volume electronics manufacturers.
• Proven track record in managing multi-shift factory operations supply chains with thousands of SKUs and vendor ecosystems in Asia and globally.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing TPM TQM and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams (500 employees) and drive cross-functional transformation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and digital manufacturing platforms (MES SCM tools).
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management; MBA preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of engaging at all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on leadership style; presence on the factory floor is essential.
• Analytical mindset with experience in cost reduction KPI management and strategic planning.
• Deep vendor and logistics network knowledge in India and SE Asia is a plus.
