We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate HR Manager with a strong foundation in human resources career coaching training and who brings a regional perspective especially within the Caribbean job market.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Coaching & Candidate Development
- Provide one-on-one career coaching sessions to job seekers.
- Assess individual competencies and market alignment to guide candidates on career strategy and growth.
- Design and deliver training workshops/webinars on career development interview preparation workplace readiness and soft skills.
HR Management & Strategy
- Lead HR operations including recruitment onboarding performance management and employee relations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement HR policies and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Training & Learning Development
- Develop and manage training programs to support continuous professional development for candidates and internal staff.
- Identify skills gaps and recommend learning initiatives to address market and client needs.
Compliance & Labour Law Oversight
- Ensure HR practices comply with relevant labour laws and employment standards particularly within the Caribbean region.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation and advise leadership on compliance issues and policy updates.
Regional/International HR Expertise
- Apply knowledge of HR dynamics and employment trends to enhance recruitment strategies and candidate placement.
- Build networks with local regional and international talent pools and employment partners.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a senior HR role with direct experience in career coaching talent development or candidate guidance.
- Proven experience with training program creation and delivery.
- Strong understanding of Caribbean regional HR practices and employment legislation is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong knowledge of employment and labour laws (local and regional).
- HR Certification (e.g. SHRM-CP CHRP) is an asset.
