Responsibilities
- We are seeking amid-level Legal Counselto handle a broad range of legal matters with focus on supporting our Groups licensing initiatives across the world. The role requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple legal tasks across different jurisdictions.
- This position offers a unique opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to develop expertise in various legal matters financial regulations and regulatory compliance working closely with senior colleagues who provide strategic oversight and guidance. We welcome applicants who are eager to work in a dynamic and international environment.
- Provide legal assistance across various legal matters in a wide range of jurisdictions across the globe ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Perform legal research under the laws and regulations worldwide.
- Draft and review various legal documents.
- Assist with preparation and review of the license applications and related documents.
- Support the licensing process including work with internal teams and coordination with the external advisors.
- Assistance with guiding internal teams on licensing and regulatory matters.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in the in-house legal team or law firm.
- Strong organisational and document management skills with the ability to track and coordinate multiple legal matters.
- Ability to work with multiple jurisdictions and different legal frameworks.
- Ability to liaise effectively with external counsels.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above inCEFR).
- Previous experience or familiarity with regulated industries (e.g. fintech financial services) will be beneficial.
