Job Description

The Role

At our 12-month Graduate Scheme is designed to kickstart your career in fintech by immersing you in the core operations of a global payments leader. As a Merchant Operations Graduate youll be responsible for supporting our merchants in either a Merchant Care role or a Merchant Configuration role.

As a Merchant Configuration graduate you will be supporting the seamless setup and maintenance of merchant accounts ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every configuration. 

As a Merchant Care graduate you will directly be supporting our merchants handling their inbound queries.

In both roles youll develop a deep understanding of our internal systems products and processes working closely with cross-functional teams to help merchants transact smoothly and scale confidently on our platform.

As part of Graduate Program youll work alongside experienced professionals gaining hands-on experience and a comprehensive introduction to digital payments and technology. The program offers an extensive learning experience through technical training professional development workshops and direct access to industry experts. Youll be part of a global Early Careers Graduate community with regular networking events mentoring opportunities and social activities designed to build connections and accelerate your growth and leadership potential. By the end of the scheme youll be equipped with the knowledge experience and confidence to make a lasting impact at and beyond.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop an understanding of payment processes and lifecycle and / or a configuration role within the Tech and/or e-commerce industry.
  • Must be available to start in September 2025

How youll make an impact

During this 12-month Graduate Program your responsibilities may include:

Generic Responsibilities

  • Gain practical experience in a multinational environment collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of our systems / solutions
  • Approach tasks with enthusiasm curiosity and a proactive mindset.
  • Develop strong operational and problem-solving skills for long-term growth
  • Assist in navigating queries with appropriate support channels to ensure timely resolution
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements prioritize their satisfaction by addressing concerns and facilitating solutions promptly
  • Follow defined processes meticulously to ensure the accuracy of all tasks
  • Review work for errors and execute quality checks to maintain high standards
  • Manage your time effectively as workload and priorities change through the day.
  • Proactively identify where an issue may require additional help or escalation.

Merchant Configuration

  • Learn to set up update and terminate merchant accounts efficiently ensuring all processes are followed accurately.

Merchant Care

  • Develop deep customer service skills
  • Learn to deliver high quality service using multiple channels of communication
  • Prioritise and manage a queue of cases (questions and issues) assigned to you documenting troubleshooting activity in a case management system.
