Job Description
About the Role: Our client is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer with 8 years in cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) to spearhead their infrastructure and automation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable secure and highly available systems. This role demands strong leadership in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines managing container orchestration and driving Infrastructure as Code practices.
Were seeking a hands-on leader for a full-time 5-days-a-week Work From Office (WFO) role in either Mumbai or Hyderabad with our esteemed client.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the design implementation and optimization of robust CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices.
*Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes in production environments.
*Develop deploy and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
*Utilize Helm for packaging and deploying applications on Kubernetes clusters.
*Implement configuration management solutions with tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
*Drive cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or GCP).
*Oversee monitoring logging and alerting strategies to ensure system health and performance.
*Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence.
*Collaborate closely with development QA and operations teams to streamline processes and accelerate deployments.
Non-Negotiable Requirements: Experience working with Rest APIs. 2+ years of experience in both relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Apache HBase). 2+ years of experience with Git for version control. 2+ years of experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript (), Python, and PowerShell. Nice-to-Have Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
