Job Posting: Teachers Aide (Classified Position)Luckiamute Valley Charter Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teachers Aide to support classroom instruction and student learning. This is a classified position that assists teachers in providing a safe engaging and positive learning environment. Luckiamute Valley Charter Schools (LVCS) is a student-centered community-driven educational institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence character development and a love for learning. Position DetailsPosition Title: Teachers AideReports To: Classroom Teacher / PrincipalWork Year: 165 days (aligned with student calendar)FLSA Status: Non-ExemptEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the classroom teacher with instructional with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce students with special needs by following teacher guidance and students in classrooms hallways playgrounds and during school prepare organize and maintain classroom materials and clerical duties such as copying filing and student behavior and support positive behavior confidentiality of student with health hygiene and safety needs as in staff meetings training and professional school diploma or equivalent (required).Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred).Ability to follow written and verbal communication and interpersonal flexibility and a positive to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with student mobility if / CertificationFirst Aid/CPR certification to ApplyInterested applicants should email a completed application form and references to Daniel Shimek at Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
