As an Express Service Advisor you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing in their vehicles for routine maintenance and express services. Youll be responsible for greeting customers understanding their service needs recommending additional services when appropriate and ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional automotive care.
Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive.
Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle information.
Provide clear explanations of recommended services maintenance schedules and repair needs.
Generate service repair orders and maintain accurate records in the system.
Communicate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient vehicle service.
Review completed work with customers answer questions and explain charges.
Upsell maintenance packages additional services or vehicle accessories when appropriate.
Ensure a positive customer experience to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
Maintain knowledge of manufacturer recalls warranty programs and dealership promotions.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree a plus).
Prior experience in automotive service customer service or sales preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services.
Proficiency with computers and dealership management systems (Dealertrack) is a plus.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
