Locum - Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Join a Dynamic Medical Team in Youngstown OH!
The St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital is actively looking for a locum physician specializing in Non-Invasive Cardiology. With a robust practice environment this position is ideal for providers seeking an opportunity in a growing community. The hospital features a Level 1 trauma designation and a patient demographic focusing on individuals aged 18 and up. The practice is currently experiencing a transition due to a retiring provider creating a need to cover four sites with a collaborative group of seven cardiologists during your tenure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient cardiology care with a focus on Non-Invasive procedures.
- Conduct Treadmill Stress Tests Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiography.
- Perform Electrical Cardioversions and Electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Participate in weekend on-call duties (1-2 weekends a month with potential additional weekday call).
- Document patient interactions and care using the EPIC EMR system.
- Collaborate with a team of cardiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Cardiology - REQUIRED
- Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications - REQUIRED
- Able to commit to the outlined schedule
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio Medical License - REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Cardiology - REQUIRED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - REQUIRED
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - REQUIRED
