Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Des Moines IA
Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading medical center in Des Moines Iowa as a Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist starting December 24 2025. This facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to its community offering advanced medical imaging lab and pharmacy services. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative environment that supports both patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care for OBED patients
- Manage emergent cases including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Cater to patients without a primary OBGYN
- Be part of the only maternity transport team in Iowa
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (required; can accept truly board eligible candidates)
- Active Iowa License (strongly preferred) or Active IMLC (required)
- Ability to start on December 24 2025 (required)
- Clean malpractice/background record (required)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Active Iowa medical license or Active IMLC
