Job Description
Join a Leading OB/GYN Practice in Pueblo CO
Associates in Womens Health is thrilled to welcome a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN Physician to their dynamic team. The physician will be employed by Associates in Womens Health providing exceptional care at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo Colorado. This 350-bed facility founded in 1923 is recognized as a level III trauma center and boasts two outpatient locations in the area. This role promises a supportive environment with an emphasis on quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in a full-time capacity.
- Join an experienced OB/GYN group consisting of six physicians and four certified nurse midwives.
- Maintain a 50/50 OB/GYN practice split across two outpatient clinics.
- See approximately 20 patients in clinic each day.
- Enjoy a flexible 4-day work week allowing ample time to explore the beautiful landscapes of Colorado.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:5; with certified nurse midwives handling first call most nights.
- Access to two da Vinci XI robots along with convenient access to operating room time.
- Utilize Epic as the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (0-5 years post-residency).
- Current or willing to obtain a Colorado medical license.
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
- DEA registration must be obtained prior to start with no exemptions.
- Ability to note if visa support (J1 or H1B) is required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN is REQUIRED.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Colorado License.
- DEA registration is REQUIRED.
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
