Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients teams at (1) property in White Bear Lake MN (55110). The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in multi-family maintenance general maintenance knowledge be self-motivated be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. Appliance knowledge of repair and troubleshooting is required. Boiler experience is required certifications are highly preferred. Magic Pak experience is highly preferred. This role is contract or can go contract to hire (90 days before conversion) for the right candidate.
Salary: $25-$28/hour DOQ.
Schedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm with a 1 hour lunch. This role is contract or can go contract to hire (90 days before conversion) for the right candidate.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
- Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
- Install repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
- Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
- Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains repair/replace leaking faucets remove/replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust/replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
- Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years experience in residential maintenance.
- Boilers experience is required certifications are preferred.
- Appliance knowledge of repair and troubleshooting is required.
- Magic Pak experience is highly preferred.
- Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
- Have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
