Aperu du poste :

Le/la Coordonnateur(trice) du Contrle des Inventaires et de la Conformit est responsable du maintien de registres dinventaire prcis de la surveillance des transactions en entrept et de lassurance de la conformit aux politiques de lentreprise ainsi quaux exigences de la loi Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Cette personne effectuera des audits quotidiens sur diverses activits lies linventaire dans notre entrept incluant sans sy limiter la rception des marchandises les audits de remorques/sorties et les comptages cycliques. Elle collaborera troitement avec des quipes interfonctionnelles telles que les Oprations la Conformit des Fournisseurs lAudit Interne et la Comptabilit des Inventaires pour assurer lexactitude et lintgrit des donnes.

Responsabilits :

  • Rpondre aux demandes lies au contrle des inventaires et rsoudre les problmes et carts identifis.
  • Enquter sur les carts dinventaire en identifier les causes fondamentales et mettre en uvre des actions correctives.
  • Effectuer des audits alatoires pour rconcilier les carts dinventaire.
  • Traiter les ajustements dinventaire quotidiens une fois les carts valids.
  • Analyser et tester alatoirement les procdures de comptage cyclique et physique de lentrept pour assurer la conformit.
  • Prparer des rapports hebdomadaires/mensuels pour les runions excutives en fournissant des analyses claires et exploitables.
  • Documenter et maintenir les processus internes et les flux de travail y compris les procdures oprationnelles normalises (SOP) et les guides de formation.
  • Grer et organiser les fichiers/documents cls dans le rpertoire partag.
  • Participer aux audits trimestriels et annuels dinventaire ainsi quaux procdures de comptage physique de fin danne.
  • Proposer des amliorations aux processus et lefficacit lorsque possible.
  • Soutenir les initiatives damlioration continue visant optimiser les processus et rduire les cots.

Comptences et qualits recherches :

  • Sens du dtail esprit analytique et grande organisation avec une capacit dmontre travailler rapidement et fournir des informations prcises et exploitables.
  • Autonomie motivation personnelle persvrance et dbrouillardise.
  • Capacit tablir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec plusieurs parties prenantes.
  • Matrise de MS Office avec comptences intermdiaires en Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Power BI et Microsoft Teams pour les rapports de conformit et de variances.
  • Excellentes comptences en communication tant loral qu lcrit (bilinguisme prfr : anglais/franais ou espagnol).
  • Excellente gestion du temps et connaissance des techniques dorganisation.
  • Capacit travailler en collaboration interfonctionnelle avec de solides comptences interpersonnelles.
  • Capacit dmontre grer des priorits concurrentes dans un environnement dynamique et ax sur les dlais.
  • Attention exceptionnelle aux dtails pour garantir lexactitude et lexhaustivit du travail.

Formation et exprience :

  • Baccalaurat en comptabilit administration des affaires ou gestion de la chane dapprovisionnement.
  • 2 4 ans dexprience en contrle des inventaires logistique ou oprations dentrept; une exprience dans une entreprise cote en bourse ou dans un environnement rglement par SOX est fortement souhaite.
  • Une exprience avec Oracle Cloud (ERP/WMS) est considre comme un atout majeur.

Certifications (optionnelles mais valorises) :

  • Certification APICS/ASCM en planification et gestion des inventaires (CPIM)
  • Certification APICS/ASCM de professionnel de la chane dapprovisionnement (CSCP)
  • Ceinture jaune/verte Six Sigma

Inventory Control & Compliance Coordinator Saint Laurent QC

Overview:

The Inventory Control & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records monitoring warehouse transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirementsor performing daily audits on various inventory related activities performed at our warehouse including but not limited to inbound receiving outbound/trailer audits and daily cycle counting. This individual will work closely with cross functional teams including Operations Vendor Compliance Internal Audit and Inventory Accounting to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity is maintained.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Inventory Control enquiries to resolve identified inventory issues and discrepancies.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of inventory variances and initiate action to rectify the issues.
  • Conduct random audits as required to reconcile inventory variances.
  • Process daily inventory adjustments when variances are identified and validated.
  • Analyze and perform random testing on warehouse cycle count and physical count procedures to ensure compliance
  • Prepare Weekly / Monthly reports for key executive meetings that provide actionable insights vs. just the data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Document and maintain internal processes and workflows including SOPs and training guides
  • Manage and organize files/ key documents in share drive
  • Participate in quarterly and yearly inventory audits and year-end physical count procedures
  • Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies where possible
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes that add value and reduce costs

Attributes & Skills:

  • Detail oriented analytical and highly organized with proven ability to work quickly and deliver accurate and actionable information
  • Autonomous self- motivated tenacious and resourceful
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with several stakeholders
  • MS office proficiency with intermediate Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Power BI and Microsoft Teams skills for compliance and variance reporting
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal (Bilingual Preferred) English/ French or Spanish
  • Excellent time-management skills and knowledge in organizational techniques.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally demonstrating strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of work

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • 2-4 years experience in inventory control logistics or warehouse operations; experience in a publicly traded company or SOX-regulated environment strongly preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud (ERP/WMS) is considered a strong asset.

Certifications (Optional but Valued)

  • APICS/ASCM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • APICS/ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt
