About the role

selectability is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to cover the role of Acting Performance Management Coordinator in Townsville from 8September 2025 to 19 September 2025. This leave coverage role will assist in the handling of intricate human resource matters by offering prompt guidance and examining evidence to support fair performance management addition the Acting Performance Management Coordinator will provide training and upskilling of managers to be confident in performance management processes and conversations.

The key responsibilities of the Acting Performance Management Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • providing performance management advice to line managers using best practice frameworks to increase productivity and job satisfaction for selectability to remain a truly great place to work
  • supporting line managers to resolve workplace conflict or barriers to performance
  • supporting the development of employee goals for annual performance reviews which align with the organisations goals and values
  • improving grievance policies and processes to ensure a fair and robust process
  • managing and investigating complex performance management matters across the footprint
  • providing training and coaching to line managers regarding performance management

About you

To be considered for the role you must possess:

  • minimum 3 years experience in performance management
  • experience investigating complex performance management matters
  • sound understanding of the Fair Work Act
  • experience coaching line managers in performance management
  • experience in developing policies and procedures
  • the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Role requirements

  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate
  • a current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence

The Acting Performance Management Coordinator is a full-time fixed termposition from the 8September 2025 19 September 2025 based in Townsville.
