The Associate Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning Optimization and LLMs will work closely with experts from various domains to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions that solve complex challenges and optimize processes.
The Associate Data Scientist is a key member of our data science team. They work on challenging problems develop advanced AI solutions and contribute to our mission of driving data-driven decision-making and product enhancement. They will have access to state-of-the-art tools and resources to support their work and will not just have the freedom but be encouraged to push the boundaries of what AI can achieve.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Algorithm Development: Design develop and implement advanced machine learning models and AI algorithms with a specific focus on optimization algorithms or LLMs to solve complex business problems and optimize processes.
Optimization: Apply mathematical optimization techniques to improve decision-making processes resource allocation and efficiency across various domains such as supply chain pricing or resource scheduling.
Data Analysis: Analyze and preprocess large datasets to extract valuable insights and identify opportunities for optimization and AI-driven improvements.
Model Training and Tuning: Train fine-tune and evaluate machine learning models including LLMs to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency.
Deployment and Integration: Collaborate with our engineering team to deploy machine learning models into our production environment and ensure seamless integration with our products and services.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement monitoring systems to track the performance of deployed models and algorithms making iterative improvements as needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers application designers and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of your work including code models and methodologies to facilitate knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning AI optimization algorithms and LLMs and proactively propose and implement innovative solutions.
Skills:
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow H2o PyTorch Langchain or scikit-learn. Familiarity with optimization libraries is a plus.
Optimization Expertise: Strong knowledge of mathematical optimization techniques and practical experience in applying them to real-world problems.
Data Manipulation: Proficiency in data manipulation analysis and visualization using SQL Pandas and related tools.
Machine Learning: Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Innovation: A passion for exploring new approaches and technologies to advance AI and optimization capabilities.
Continuous Learning: An eagerness to stay current with the latest developments in machine learning AI optimization and LLMs.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in statistics data science machine learning and AI with a potential focus on optimization algorithms and/or LLMs.
