Respite Care of San Antonio (RCSA) provides services to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnosis. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize families prevent possible child abuse and prevent or delay institutionalization of the child with special needs.
We offer various services for children with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnoses such as a full-time daycare mothers day out program family day out/parents night out program and summer camps. Along with this we are a licensed emergency shelter and foster placement agency for children who have been taken into state protective custody.
The Remote Customer Service & Data Entry Clerk supports the organizations customer-facing and data management functions by handling customer inquiries maintaining accurate records in the database and providing administrative support. This role helps ensure efficient operational flow and high-quality service delivery to clients caregivers or internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone email chat or other digital channels.
Enter update and maintain data in the organizations information systems and databases (e.g. client records service requests scheduling data).
Ensure high accuracy and completeness of data entry; identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
Maintain digital filing systems and electronic documents; organize and index records for easy retrieval.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments logging service incidents generating simple reports managing correspondences.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion in line with organizational policies and applicable privacy regulations.
Collaborate with other teams (e.g. service delivery billing scheduling) to ensure data supports operational needs and that customer issues are followed through.
Proactively monitor customer service issues or data-quality concerns and escalate or resolve as appropriate.
Maintain a reliable remote working setup (internet connectivity secure workspace) and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and service targets.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
No experience needed we will train and training is paid
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and willingness to learn new data systems or CRMs.
Ability to work independently self-motivate organize workload and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Reliable high-speed internet dedicated quiet workspace.

Required Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or higher education preferred Minimum two years of experience working with direct care; developmental disabilities and/or childcare experience preferred At least one year experience as a supervisor (more than 5 employees) Must be at least 21 years of age Valid drivers license Ability to pass all background checks Ability to attend 40 hours paid new hire orientation training during the day First Aid and CPR certifications preferred (may obtain after hired)
