We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will be a current LL.B. student from a top-tier institute with prior experience in both a law firm and a corporate legal department. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical exposure in contracts compliance corporate governance and dispute resolution.
Internship Duration:
Minimum: 3 months
Maximum: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts NDAs and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research on corporate commercial and regulatory matters.
- Support compliance activities including monitoring statutory obligations and preparing necessary filings.
- Assist in managing litigation arbitration and other dispute resolution processes including liaising with external counsel.
- Maintain and update legal documentation templates and databases.
- Prepare internal legal notes case summaries and compliance trackers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance HR operations etc.) on legal queries.
Requirements:
Education:
Currently pursuing LL.B. from a top-tier law school/institute.
Minimum 85% marks in both 10th and 12th examinations (mandatory).
Experience:
Prior law firm internship with exposure to corporate/commercial matters.
Prior corporate/in-house legal internship or work experience.
Skills:
Strong legal research and drafting skills.
Excellent command over English both written and spoken.
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
