The year 2025 sees the business expand its IT workforce and we are seeking a qualified and highly experienced Applications Manager with strong strategic IT planning experience to join our Para Hills West Head Office.
About the Job:
The Manager IT Application is responsible for overseeing developing and optimising key business applications including ERP BI and custom-developed software. The role ensures systems are reliable scalable and aligned with business needs while also contributing to strategic IT planning. This position combines hands-on expertise with strategic leadership working closely with the General Manager IT to drive application improvements and support business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the performance reliability and usability of business applications.
Provide technical oversight on ERP BI and software development projects.
Oversee major application changes upgrades and system integrations.
Identify opportunities to optimise applications and processes through automation and new technologies.
Maintain strong relationships with departments to align systems with operational and strategic goals.
Implement application governance frameworks (access controls licensing data privacy audit readiness).
Direct and support internal staff and third-party vendors in application development and support.
Collaborate with the GM IT to execute applications strategy aligned with business objectives.
Promote a safe work environment and continuous improvement.
You are a proactive IT professional with a degree in Information Technology and a current drivers licence (C class minimum). You bring strong technical expertise in ERP BI and software development with proven experience managing IT applications and delivering projects. You are a self-starter a collaborative team player and committed to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Desirable certifications include ITIL Agile/Scrum BI platforms cloud platforms DevOps or software development.
