Game Staff
The Athletic and Fitness Center is seeking a responsible individual with interest in athletics and operations to assist with game day management for Chatham Universitys sports. The ideal candidate must be dependable punctual and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position includes but is not limited to operating scoreboards in-game recordkeeping and assisting with various event operations as well as other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Attention to detail is imperative.
Work the clock at sports such as soccer volleyball and hockey.
Be able to perform essential in-game skills such as the book in basketball
Be able to perform skilled position such as line judge for volleyball and scoresheet for hockey.
Adhere to the dress code that includes khaki or khaki material pants and an AFC issued shirt.
Assist the game supervisor in any other capacity.
Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor for this position.
Student staff must participate in online and in person training sessions provided by the Career Development Office. The position is in-person and hours vary per week depending on availability in relation to building hours. Nights and weekends are required. You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester. There is a dress code/uniform that will be required for this position.
All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
