The AWS Professional Services Day 1 Delivery team is seeking an Engagement Manager to help drive innovation and operational excellence in AWS Professional Services delivery operations. Youll collaborate on complex projects design scalable delivery capabilities and partner with field teams to address customer priorities. The ideal candidate has 5 years of technical project management experience deep cloud technology knowledge and expertise in agile methodologies.
Youll validate technical solutions against business goals manage risks and maintain AWS certifications while developing domain expertise. Strong communication skills are essential for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences. This role requires exceptional project execution capabilities proactive risk management and the ability to drive successful outcomes while exceeding customer expectations.
As part of AWS Professional Services youll work alongside experts helping customers achieve their business outcomes in the AWS Cloud. Youll embody Amazons Leadership Principles while ensuring service quality security and delivery excellence.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering related field or equivalent experience
3 years experience in cloud computing
Experience in project management of technical programs
At least 1 active industry certification (SAFe PMI Scrum Alliance etc.)
2 years delivering customer engagements in a professional services role
Experience with Agile and project management toolsets (e.g. Jira Rally VersionOne Taiga Git)
Additional AWS and industry certifications
Experience using Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe LeSS)
Managed technical engagements consisting of 8 or more people totaling over $budget
Has presented to C-level executives and/or senior leadership teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
