Job Description
Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for aProject SchedulerinMelbourne to work onLand Projects.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Develop maintain and enhance project schedules to support project objectives.
- Provide project governance support and participate in key project workshops.
- Support broader Project Controls activities as required.
- Analyse project information and cost data to monitor and report on project cost and schedule progress including Earned Value Performance Measurement (EVPM).
- Manage individual schedules and coordinate with the Scheduler to update the master schedule.
What Youll Bring
- Experience in developing and managing a Program schedule in the Defence environment.
- Proficiency in PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification.
- Experience in OPP Version 8 (minimum).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with project management engineering military personnel and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills initiative and judgement to provide detailed planning and scheduling advice.
Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimumNegative Vetting 1or higher Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
