The Associate Director Field Force Effectiveness plays a critical role in enabling high-performing cross functional field teams by advancing aligned action operational clarity and real-time connectivity across the U.S. commercial organization. This role reports to the Head Field Force Effectiveness and collaborates with cross functional leadership to optimize represent and enable commercial field-based employees. The key goal of this position is to foster strong two-way communication between field teams and internal stakeholders enabling agile decision-making shared understanding and consistent progress toward collective goals in a complex and fast-moving environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Liaison for all Field Excellence capabilities ensuring seamless integration and alignment of field effectiveness initiatives
Be the strategic advisor to cross function field leadership ensuring connectivity of cross functional strategy & execution across all field effectiveness initiatives
Lead/co-lead special initiatives and projects (training meetings ways of working teams pilots launch readiness etc.)
Assist the field force effectiveness lead in the shaping and advancing field effectiveness strategy and planning with a focus on cross-functional alignment and field team enablement
Work closely with the broader HR learning teams and other cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and effective execution of field force strategies; Assess field force insights and development needs and collaborate with leadership to prioritize and/or use existing resources within argenx to conduct adhoc analysis
Align field teams and cross functional leadership around commercial business priorities through operational clarity impactful training and clear expectations
Help cross-functional field leaders activate strategic priorities by elevating the tools process and ways of working that drive clarity alignment and local impact
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication prioritized initiatives and alignment with argenx leadership direction
Develop comprehensive learning programs (in conjunction with the HR learning team) for cross functional teams and leaders
Lead the development and delivery of cross functional meetings forums and strategic planning
Support and strengthen cross functional operational relationships
Desired Skills and Experience:
10-12 years of relevant Commercial experience (Field Roles Training Marketing and/or Operations)
Operational experience working with a large number of internal stakeholders on firm deadlines
Ability to coordinate large internal initiatives and projects
Extensive commercial biotech/pharma experience
Executive presence with experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
Detail oriented with a history of bringing projects to completion
Customer facing field experience
High level of effective communication
Ability to collaborate at a high level
