Job Description

KalSoft is currently looking for an AMPS Implementation & Support Expert to come and join our team.

The ideal candidate will be based in Ontario (or at minimum Canada) and have strong knowledge of Ontarios Administrative Monetary Penalties System (AMPS) law with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting AMPS within enterprise applications. This role requires a combination of compliance knowledge technical development expertise and cloud platform experience to configure integrate and maintain AMPS solutions in line with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Gain and maintain a strong understanding of Ontario AMPS legislation (O. Reg. 333/07) and its application in enterprise systems

  • Identify gaps and differences between Ontarios AMPS requirements and existing application processes (such as iProcess)

  • Implement configure and test changes to meet AMPS compliance requirements in iProcess and related systems

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AMPS-enabled applications including troubleshooting and issue resolution

  • Collaborate with stakeholders legal/compliance teams and business units to ensure correct application of AMPS policies

  • Integrate AMPS functionality within enterprise workflows and reporting systems

  • Leverage cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) for deployment scaling and secure operations

  • Apply full-stack development skills ( C# Java HTML5 CSS3) to customize extend and support AMPS-related applications

  • Create and maintain documentation technical specifications and support guides for AMPS implementation

  • Deliver training or knowledge transfer sessions for internal users and administrators


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ontario residents (or at minimum Canadian residents) may apply only

  • Proven understanding of Ontario AMPS legislation (O. Reg. 333/07) and its implications for enterprise system compliance

  • Experience in implementing regulatory/compliance systems preferably AMPS-related

  • Hands-on expertise with cloud services such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

  • Strong full-stack development background with proficiency in C# Java HTML5 and CSS3

  • Experience in integrating compliance features into existing enterprise applications (e.g. iProcess)

  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills for application support and incident resolution

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and compliance requirements

  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
