About the role

Our friendly and collaborative Property team has an opening for a Lawyer with drive and the capacity to succeed. This is an exciting opportunity to cement a career within a busy and diverse property law practice.

In this role you will be a valued member of a team where practitioners are encouraged to be responsible for their own matters and where they are given autonomy. Key areas of the Property and Planning practice which you will be exposed to include:

  • Residential and commercial conveyancing;
  • Retail and commercial leasing;
  • Acting for state and local government authorities on leasing acquisition and disposals of land and easements.

While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.

About you

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • 1 to 3 years of post-admission experience with predominant experience in conveyancing leasing and other property transactions in NSW;
  • Experience using the PEXA platform;
  • A passion for property law;
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a team; and
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
