JOB TITLE: Physician Assistant
We are looking to add a PA to our busy pain management practice. The PA will examine assess and assemble a care plan in coordination with the supervising physician for patients with various conditions causing chronic pain. PA responsibilities also include refilling medications communicating with patients via patient portal and seeing routine follow up appointments. Knowledge in pain management treatment injection therapy and experience in Nextgen is preferred.
The ideal candidate is someone who is hard working eager to learn very dependable and has ability to multi-task and lead.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of a Physician assistant program required and non-restricted DEA for the state of Ca.
- BLS/CPR certification preferred.
- 3-5 years work experience preferred. Experience with ortho or pain management is preferable.
- Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person in writing and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
- Able to perform any other tasks as assigned.
