Working from late November through the end of March the Seasonal Reader will be responsible for reviewing first-year applications and making a recommendation regarding admission. A Bachelors Degree is required; familiarity with liberal arts education is preferred. To meet weekly reading goals the Seasonal Reader must be able to devote a minimum of 10-20/hours/weeks to the application review process and attend a training session in late November. A primary focus includes the thorough evaluation of secondary school transcripts and supporting credentials. It will be necessary to have a close working relationship with the Director of Recruitment and the application processing staff responsible for preparing applications for review. This position may choose to work remotely or on order to read our online applications this position will require a private space and must have access to a computer and high-speed internet. Given the confidential nature of application review it is essential that this position exercise the utmost discretion.
