Job Description
OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Bad Axe MI
Join our dedicated team in Bad Axe Michigan where you can take advantage of an immediate opening for an OB/GYN to assume an existing patient base due to a retiring provider. This is your chance to step into an established practice with a full patient panel under an employed practice model. Located in a thriving community you will have the opportunity to practice in the only birthing center in the region delivering approximately 370 babies each year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a collegial environment alongside one other OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner.
- Manage an average of 30-40 patients per day both inpatient and outpatient.
- Conduct gynecological procedures with the team performing approximately 460 annually.
- Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with dedicated surgery days.
- Utilize on-site ultrasound NST IUI and phlebotomy services.
- Participate in hospital call approximately 7 days per month mainly on weekends.
- Engage in a practice that utilizes paper charting in the clinic with EMR in the hospital.
- Open to J1 visa candidates but not accepting H1B candidates or locums at this time.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan License (or in process) - REQUIRED
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan Medical License (or in process)
- BLS Certification
- DEA License (must be obtained prior to starting)
- CSR/CDS Certification (must be obtained prior to starting)
