Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine
Join a dedicated team focused on providing essential medical evaluations for our nations Veterans. This role combines General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments at a government contractor facility in New Hampshire. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of those who have served our country.
Responsibilities:
- Perform General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments.
- Conduct interviews and physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete non-treatment exams and health assessments.
- Utilize Goniometer for evaluations.
- Document findings and submit standardized reports within 48 hours of exam completion.
- Participate in ongoing administrative tasks including addendums and medical opinions.
- Train on Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
- Ensure compliance with all evaluation policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology Neurosurgery or PM&R.
- Proficient in METs testing and familiar with musculoskeletal diabetes and cardiovascular evaluations.
- Must own a personal laptop (no Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in New Hampshire.
- Willingness to complete DMA certification training.
- Complete CV with current home address required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified.
- Unrestricted full medical license in New Hampshire.
- Completion of DMA certification is required before beginning work.
