Job Description
-Assemble and install major components with their sub-assemblies under minimal supervision
-Perform assembly functions such as layouts maintaining specified tolerances positioning of components alignment of drive couplings and pinion gears roller chain and belt installs bore-sighting etc
-Assist in start-up processing repairs and rebuilds
-Identify equipment needs and/or safety issues related to condition and operation of equipment
-Work with other departments to ensure accuracy and assembly details and keep projects on schedule
-Adherence to safety protocols
-Operate sit-down forklift as needed
-Other duties as assigned
-High school diploma or equivalent
-5 years of experience in industrial or machine assembly
-Ability to read blueprints
-Forklift certified or ability to become certified
-Must either have or be willing to purchase own basic tools
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Understanding of electronics
-Work OT as needed
-Able to lift up to 50 lbs
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Ability to climb ladders stoop crouch and move about as needed
