Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Neurology
Located in the vibrant city of Cincinnati Ohio this hospital-based practice at Clermont & Anderson Hospitals is seeking Locum Neurology Coverage. This opportunity arises from the sudden departure of a provider and provides a conducive environment for delivering top-notch healthcare. You will be joining a supportive team with other neurologists and advanced practice providers available during your assignment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurology care to adult patients in an inpatient setting.
- Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial).
- Administer thrombolytic therapy as required.
- Conduct EEG (Electroencephalogram) and EMG (Electromyogram) procedures.
- Perform brain death examinations when necessary.
- Participate in rotating weekday and weekend on-call duties.
- Manage an average of 10-20 hospital-based patients per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology (mandatory).
- Active Ohio medical license; IMLC applicants welcome.
- Availability for the specified coverage dates must be clearly indicated.
- ACLS certification is required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a current active Ohio medical license.
- Board Certification in Neurology is mandatory.
- Current ACLS certification required.
