Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect Commercial Banking position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise excellent communication skills and a passion for driving innovation in the financial an Enterprise Architect for Commercial Lending you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizations technology strategy landscape and this role you will serve as an integrative force across business and technology domains establish trusted advisor partnerships with senior leaders and drive the architecture of complex high-priority initiatives that deliver significant business value. Your work will influence large-scale programs that are critical to the banks long-term success ensuring scalable resilient and forward-looking solutions.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps that align business priorities regulatory requirements and long-term technology vision.
- Develop high-level architectural models and frameworks that support secure scalable and resilient solutions across banking platforms.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable solution architectures that guide delivery and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations risk frameworks and data privacy standards.
- Partner with business leaders product owners and technology teams to align architecture across client services digital platforms and core banking systems.
- Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
- Build strong relationships with management as a trusted advisor providing expert insights to support decision-making.
- Communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with external technology providers and partners to ensure performance cost-effectiveness and agility.
- Lead selection and implementation of CRE technologies (e.g. IWMS CAFM lease accounting smart building platforms) and ensure integration with enterprise systems.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field.
- 7 years in cloud architecture including 3 years focused on commercial lending technology within a financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of financial services domains especially commercial banking products (commercial loans lines of credit leveraged finance syndications participations leases equipment finance dealer floor plan asset-based lending).
- Experience with commercial lending origination and servicing platforms such as nCino AFS Vision and Bottomline treasury management systems.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF Zachman) and architecture diagramming practices.
- Hands-on experience with solution design system integration and software delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud microservices APIs data platforms and integration patterns.
- Awareness of cybersecurity data privacy and secure architecture practices.
- Ability to influence and align senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FFIEC SOX GLBA GDPR).
- Strong communication presentation and visualization skills.
- Experience driving innovation in financial services and supporting organizational change.
Pay Range:$60-$75/hr
