Job Description
Were partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company thats reshaping how technical teams support mission-critical software in the scientific and data space. Theyre looking for a Support Engineer to join their fully remote team and help improve the day-to-day experience of their platforms users.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their software career who enjoys hands-on problem solving writing clean code and collaborating across functions in a fast-paced environment.
What youll do
- Manage a queue of technical support requests
- Write and test code to fix bugs and enhance features (forms reports integrations)
- Collaborate with Support Engineering and Customer Success teams
- Work with HTML/CSS JavaScript Python and templating languages (like Jinja)
- Communicate clearly via tools like Jira GitHub and Slack
- Submit and review pull requests
- Gain experience with DevOps and deployment pipelines
What theyre looking for
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent software development training
- 1 years in a similar technical support or engineering role
- 2 years of experience coding with Python HTML/CSS and JavaScript (academic freelance or personal projects welcome)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
- B2 level of English or higher youll work closely with a U.S.-based team
