JOB TITLE: Supplier Quality Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $71.92/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Clearance required (able to start without clearance)

Worksite: On-site Mon Wed Thu as needed (telework < 50%); Core hours: Mon Fri 9 AM 3 PM CST (4 10 schedule)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Identify process variations and nonconformances; use data analysis to develop solutions to complex supply chain issues
-
Support product line validations per AS9102 and risk management requirements
-
Provide systemic support for issue resolution including root cause containment corrective and preventive actions
-
Interface with program management and customer needs to support program requirements
-
Drive failure diagnosis and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities
-
Develop technical solutions to complex problems and act as a liaison on quality engineering matters
-
Ensure contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified
-
Review site manufacturing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered
-
Collaborate within Integrated Product Teams reviewing quality data (yields rework scrap non-conformance aging)
Requirements:
-
Clearance required (able to start without clearance)

Bachelors degree (STEM) with 5 years of experience
-
4 6 years in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
-
2 4 years of experience in each of the following:
-
Supplier Quality and Supplier Interaction
-
Problem-solving and data analysis
-
Complex mechanical/electrical concepts
-
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
-
Quality Assurance/Quality Control
-
Manufacturability problem-solving
-

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
