JOB TITLE: Engineering Aide - Solder CCA - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $29.90/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Clearance: Ability to obtain clearance (not required to start)

Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week with occasional overtime

Summary:
-
Fabricating circuit cards sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses including connector pinning de-pinning soldering and applying mounting hardware.
-
Assemblies are built into single or multi-bay cabinets for delivery to Engineering or Production.
-
The position requires both individual contribution and teamwork collaborating with Engineers Fabricators Draftsmen Procurement and Quality Inspectors.
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain clearance (not required to start)
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
3 years of fabrication experience (cable/wire harness SMT board fabrication or military product maintenance).

Prior certification in solder and harness per MIL-STD requirements.
-
Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints schematics and engineering guides.
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for reporting design/process issues.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software tools.
-
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Solder certification: J-STD-001 IPC-7711/7721.
-
Experience in procurement/acquisition of test materials.
-
Experience interpreting and building test equipment engineering.
-
Safety shoes required.
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
