Job Description
Application Development Manager - Broomfield CO
Location: Broomfield CO (Hybrid Onsite at least 50% over a two-week pay period)
Type: Full-time / 40 hours per week Summary
hiring an Application Development Manager to lead the design development and delivery of enterprise solutions that enhance our core banking systems-including Symitar-and drive operational excellence.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who thrives in agile environments inspires high-performing teams and brings a balance of technical rigor and creative problem-solving. Youll oversee a team of core developers collaborate across business units and shape the future of our application architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Symitar Core Developers across scrum teams and business lines
Collaborate with the Enterprise PMO and attend stakeholder ceremonies
Foster a team culture that values diversity innovation and customer satisfaction
Drive high-quality software delivery through design governance code reviews and best practices
Implement continuous improvement processes for application management
Ensure compliance with Elevations coding and security standards
Engage with external vendors and align with strategic roadmaps
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
6 years experience with financial institution technologies:
Jack Henry (Symitar Synapsys Synergy SymXchange ARCU)
MeridianLink Encompass Alkami COTS Image Center OpCon
Strong foundation in software development methodologies version control and testing
Proven leadership in coaching mentoring and motivating teams
Ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic outcomes
Deep understanding of agile and iterative project management practices
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering
Hands-on experience with Symitar/PowerOn/RepGen
Familiarity with IBM AIX SQL HTML JavaScript
Knowledge of ITIL framework and engineering process implementation
