About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong JavaScript expertise (browser and Node) to build and maintain SDKs and libraries improve developer onboarding and enhance the developer experience for millions of users worldwide. This role blends technical engineering open-source contribution community engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
You will be the internal and external champion for the technologies you own working closely with product onboarding growth community and SDK teams. The role requires technical expertise empathy for developers and self-direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain libraries that enable seamless integration with Auth0.
- Own and improve open-source SDKs code samples and implementation guidance.
- Create and maintain high-quality developer resources including tutorials examples guides and documentation.
- Drive improvements to Quickstart guides to enhance developer onboarding.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SDKs and libraries.
- Gather developer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the developer experience.
- Engage directly with the developer community and represent Auth0 at conferences or technical events.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional global team environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of professional experience with JavaScript (frontend and ).
- Proven experience developing libraries or SDKs for other developers to consume.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React Vue Angular or ).
- Experience delivering production applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for frontend and backend applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting and technical documentation.
- Experience authoring developer-focused content such as tutorials blog posts or documentation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

- Experience working in distributed teams.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published technical articles.
- Personal technical blog or publications on popular JavaScript sites.
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
