Job Description
Start-up Technician
Start Date ASAP
7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Pay rate $28/hour
In local region not outside a reasonable commute
OT available and most likely needed.
Project will extend at EOD and a new project which they may be part of.
Possibility conversion if skills experience and open role available
Technologies- Excel.- for check out sheets
Software programs to Siemens or customer and they will train
Safety shoes and hat will be provide- Siemens will provide PPE
Spotters for lifts but potential to be Siemens Lift Certified
Interviews- teams first with team members and then final face to face.
GED/HS diploma
Position Description:
Executes installation work with predefined tasks. Documents the installation according to the predefined steps in various computer software programs.
Positions need basic level of theoretical and practical know how skills and typically some level related years of experience in Build Automation techniques and systems used in construction or production environment.
The ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Position may operate scissor or aerial platform lifts on busy construction site.
Basic understanding of Electrical installation principles and low voltage wiring as well as Digital Controls experience a plus.
The ability to understand and troubleshoot relay logic 0-10 vdc and 4-20ma signals is a plus.
Experience:
2-year vocational training up to 1 year experience needed.
Knowledge:
Basic knowledge and experience of principles procedures work routines and skills in the Building Automation field.
