We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PP Functional Consultant to join our team in Porto Portugal. As a key member of our SAP implementation and support team you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the SAP Production Planning (PP) module to meet our clients manufacturing and production planning needs.
- Analyze client requirements and design SAP PP solutions to streamline production planning processes
- Configure and customize SAP PP module components including material requirements planning (MRP) capacity planning and production orders
- Develop and maintain functional specifications business process documentation and user manuals
- Conduct system testing including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PP module with other SAP modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP-related issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP PP developments and best practices
- Participate in project planning estimation and status reporting activities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP PP implementation or support
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP PP module functionality
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and control
- Proficiency in business process modeling and data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- SAP PP Certification preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or production planning environments
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
