Job Description
About you
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a keen eye for detail to design testing procedures for our customers software applications. Ready for the challenge
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong expertise in UI automation (Selenium Cypress Playwright Cucumber POM) and API automation (Postman Rest Assured Karate DSL).
Hands-on experience in mobile automation with Appium and other frameworks (Espresso XCUITest Detox).
Familiarity with DevOps/QAOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab Jenkins Azure DevOps AWS).
Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data management.
Exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack Sauce Labs etc.) and low-code tools (Katalon TOSCA).
ISTQB CTFL and Appium Certified Developer.
Excellent problem-solving collaborative mindset and strong communication skills in English for direct client interaction.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
Plan design execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios.
Identify opportunities for test automation in web API and mobile applications.
Log and triage defects retest fixes and deliver clear reporting.
Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define and execute test automation strategies.
Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders on test planning and execution.
Monitor test progress ensure exit criteria are met and maintain QA metrics.
Support the selection and integration of automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM) ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
