Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Health Team in Bourbon Indiana!
Explore an exceptional opportunity with a growing Family Medicine practice located in the heart of Bourbon Indiana. This quaint town offers a supportive community and a chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. adjusting as necessary to accommodate all patients.
- Participate in on-call duties averaging 1:7 (phone call only).
- Provide comprehensive care in conventional Family Medicine managing chronic disease performing dressing changes sutures biopsies and pap smears.
- Conduct basic procedures including skin tag and mole removal suturing and joint injections.
- Treat a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Work collaboratively with one Nurse Practitioner and supervise Family Medicine residents occasionally.
- Utilize EMR system Epic for patient documentation and management.
- Adhere to Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
- Maintain active membership on the medical staff as required.
- Open to candidates with H-1B and J-1 visas; not accepting locum tenens candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- License to practice in Indiana (or willing to obtain).
- Active DEA registration (or willing to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain).
- Experience working with patients across all age groups particularly pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- COVID Vaccination is required.
- Active Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred.
