As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care to patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing acute medical situations and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. - Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Assess and triage patients to determine treatment priorities
- Stabilize patients and perform emergency procedures as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medical standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
- Experience in emergency medicine preferably in a locum or similar role
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred
Schedule: 5p-7a
Level IV trauma
Monthly Volume: 1300 patients
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
