Job Description
Job Opportunity: Gynecology/Oncology Physician in Colorado Springs CO
The UCHealth Medical Group in Colorado Springs Colorado is seeking a dedicated Gynecology/Oncology Physician to join their respected team. Located in a vibrant city known for its picturesque landscapes and outdoor recreational activities this facility boasts a well-established high-volume practice at Memorial Hospital in downtown Colorado Springs. With a strong support system that includes a dedicated Nurse Navigator GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist and Pathologists you will have the tools necessary to provide exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Join a high-volume practice with a seasoned staff.
- Manage a steady stream of new patients with support from 11 primary care and 4 OB/GYN clinics.
- Collaborate with a supportive team including midlevel providers and ancillary services such as pelvic physical therapy and counseling.
- Engage in research trials and provide patients with access to cutting-edge clinical trials.
- Practice at a Level I trauma center with advanced surgical technology and full-spectrum support.
- See 15-22 patients per day focusing primarily on outpatient care.
- Participate in shared call (1:2) with minimal weekend obligations.
- Access educational resources and opportunities at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology.
- Experienced with 0-5 years of residency training.
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- DEA license required prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology (REQUIRED).
- Active Colorado license (or willing to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) (REQUIRED).
