The Waitlist Support Officer will be based in our light-filled open-plan admissions department working closely with a tight-knit team made up of another Waitlist Support Officer and a Waitlist Co-ordinator. About the role

As the Waitlist Support Officer youll play a key role in supporting the efficient scheduling of elective surgeries and ensuring patient care remains at the centre of all we do.

A typical week will see you:

  • Coordinating theatre dates for elective surgery patients
  • Managing short-notice cancellations and filling vacant slots efficiently
  • Communicating with surgeons and patients to arrange appropriate surgery dates
  • Supporting the Waitlist Co-ordinator and collaborating with the wider admissions team

  • While experience in a hospital setting is essential well support your success in this role with hands-on training and ongoing mentoring.
