Job Description
Accountant / Consultant
Our client is an established and award winning firm that enables client to focus on business by handling accounting operations and bookkeeping for them. Essentially they function as a clients accounting team handling payables receivables statements close and whatever else the client needs to ensure financial insight to the business and compliance. They partner with their clients CPA firms to provide the statements balance sheet and other input to taxes.
Continued growth yields opportunity for an Accountant / Consultant to join the this role youll:
- Serve as the coordinator / primary point of contact with small to midsized business clients to deliver full cycle business accounting and bookkeeping services
- Deliver full cycle accounting services to small to midsized business clients supported by a bookkeeping team.
- Provide insight consulting and advisory services to these clients.
- Develop and manage client expectations
- Provide insight to clients based on accounting operations and statements
- Help the firm grow revenue through additional services and opportunities within clients
- Be based in offices in Powell OH with periodic client site visits
What it takes is -
- Broad based experience and depth in accounting operations ranging from ledger entries to close to financial statements and reports. Youll understand AP / AR Invoicing Payroll and the other core elements of accounting operations. Typically 4 or more years experience in a broad based staff accountant role and experience as a Controller / Senior Accountant for a small organization.
- Its expected that the successful candidate will have 4 or more years experience in broad based accounting operations.
- Experience in working with clients external to the organization. A focus on client relationships and quality service delivery and ability to work with a variety of clients and scenarios.
- Experience in a similar accounting / bookkeeping firm CPA firm or consulting firm is a plus.
- Flexibility adaptability and desire to learn and grow in a team environment. This is a place where no two days are the same and you will be working with all levels of staff on all types of scenarios.
