Job Description
DC is accepting applications for a full-time Lower Campus Counselor. The ideal candidate is a highly qualified and committed professional able to expertly provide prevention and intervention services for students in the areas of holistic wellness as well as social emotional and personal development - all from a biblical worldview. The Lower Campus Counselor will work primarily with students in grades PK 2 - 5. This individual will bring specialized knowledge and insight to our team working closely with Division Heads and other School Counselors. This individual will foster collaborative relationships with faculty parents and other outside professionals to maintain a safe healthy and supportive learning environment.
- Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and solid understanding of the Word of God. There should evidence of a godly lifestyle based on a commitment to Jesus Christ
- Masters degree; PA certificate in School Counseling and/or School Psychology preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in education preferred
- Experience in counseling and/or creating individualized and school-wide student support plans
