Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Women and Family Center to lead and oversee operations staff and patient care services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nursing leader who is passionate about advancing womens health maternal care and family-focused services in a supportive community hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Women and Family Center.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and a positive experience for mothers infants and families.
- Oversee nursing staff manage scheduling training and professional development.
- Collaborate with physicians healthcare providers and hospital leadership to implement best practices.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies state/federal regulations and accreditation standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff engagement.
Qualifications (Required):
- Current RN Licensure in the state of Iowa or a compact state nursing license with Iowa eligibility.
- BLS Certification upon hire.
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Certificates upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous leadership or management experience in womens health labor & delivery or family care.
- Strong communication organizational and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and staff development.
