Job Description
The company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Orlando team. This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale high-impact projects in the theme park and entertainment industry focusing on ride system design analysis and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
- Perform detailed stress fatigue and load calculations as well as acceleration force and failure analysis.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance with ASTM amusement ride safety standards.
- Design and document mechanical assemblies mounting and bolted connections using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Develop system documentation including test plans design descriptions and maintenance procedures.
- Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors during installation and commissioning.
- Serve as a technical lead on major projects and manage smaller projects ($50k$250k).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- 5-10 years of mechanical engineering experience ideally with full system design responsibility
- Strong background in stress/fatigue analysis risk assessment and hazard mitigation
- Experience with theme park ride design or large mechanical systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Experience supervising contractors and managing installations
- Ability to travel up to 35%
