Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager Professional Services
Primary Location: Chicago land
Position Type: Direct hire

Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for an Account Manager this is a direct hire role. Our client is based in Chicagos near-west suburbs. This role requires travel to local client sites in the Chicago area. This role is open due to company growth; 50% of the position will be Account Management and 50% will be business development. Candidates are required to have experience selling Information Security/Cyber Security and or Technology professional services.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

  • 2 years of experience in account management client success or customer relationship roles

  • Proven success in generating sales building pipelines and meeting/exceeding quotas

  • Strong prospecting and strategic selling skills

  • Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building abilities

  • Business acumen and experience working with C-level stakeholders

  • Understanding of security technologies and client-specific challenges

  • Proactive organized and solution-focused mindset

  • Experience working cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive results

  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)

  • Strong negotiation skills and a consistent record of achieving goals


What Youll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

  • Serve as the main liaison for clients ensuring satisfaction and retention

  • Drive new sales and expand existing accounts within your territory

  • Identify client goals and security needs to deliver effective customized solutions

  • Recognize upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow account value

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Stay current on client offerings and industry trends

  • Conduct regular client check-ins and quarterly business reviews

  • Address client concerns promptly and effectively

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities in HubSpot CRM

  • Support account planning pipeline development and sales forecasting

  • Travel to client sites as needed (10-15%)


Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is a base salary $75K-$150 plus commission. Depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance 401(k) and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided complies with applicable state and federal regulations.

This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
