Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-driven Electrical Designer to join our engineering this role youll design lighting power and electrical distribution systems for a variety of building projects. Youll work closely with architects engineers and project managers to create code-compliant and high-performing electrical systems from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed electrical drawings for lighting power and distribution systems using Revit.
  • Perform lighting and power engineering calculations to support design decisions.
  • Ensure all electrical designs comply with NEC IBC IECC and other applicable codes.
  • Collaborate with architects engineers and other team members to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs.
  • Specify materials equipment and components; review vendor proposals to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support project schedules budgets and scope requirements.
  • Maintain clear professional communication with clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational Certificate or Associate degree in Engineering Design/Drafting.
  • 3 years of electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment (or 1 year for highly motivated candidates; training provided).
  • Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC IBC IECC).
  • Ability to perform electrical calculations and analysis to guide design choices.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must reside in or relocate to Tulsa OK or Bentonville AR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Experience with electrical analysis software (SKM PowerTools).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
